A number of builders and the 'Old Reliables' attended the Pietenpol Fly-In at Sywell Aerodrome, Northants. Conditions were far from ideal, with a very blustery South-Westerly putting many off. However, it was warm enough for many to enjoy a picnic or bar meal outside Sywells excellent club house. It was also an ideal opportunity for builders to swap ideas and notes, as well as to study the 'real-thing'!

Arthur Mason in G-ADRA had to divert into Hinton on the way home, having found the conditions at Finmere a little unsuitable!
