Up on it's wheels now and brakes fitted....

I have discovered a new use for our undercarriage welding jig once we get it welded. Turn it into a kitchen table. It's been too cold and damp to set it up in my garage,so indoors it came and the kitchen is the only hard floor in the house,so now I'm waiting for the welder to find time to accomodate me,but I have removed it from the kitchen since. Cheers for now Dave and the Old Farts (G-OFFA)

Just visted your web site for the first time and very impressed. We started G-OFFA just over two years ago after renting the corner of a barn from a local farmer. Progress to date, the tail sections (sorry empennage) is all complete, the fuselage is mostly complete woodwise and the first wing is 90% complete.

The metal work I "do" at home since getting my workshop together in my garage,I haven't used a lathe for 45 years so it's taken me back to my youth. We have an 0235 engine ,so Dave Hanchets pioneering in that area has been of great interest. It's stripped down to component parts so some time we'll have to throw a lot of money at it to get it rebuilt.
