About the Web designer...
Paul Shenton has been interested in aviation for as long as he
can remember. Starting with building and flying models, and gaining flying and
gliding experience with the Air Training corps. He then went on to University
to study Aeronautical Engineering, gained a place on Manchester and Salford
Universities Air Squadron, where he was taught to fly.
Following University Paul joined the Royal Air Force, and after
training he completed three 'tours' on the Tornado F3 interceptor. Being in
the 'right place at the right time' also gave him the opportunity to fly and
display the Supermarine Spitfire and Hawker Hurricane for two years with the
Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.
Paul has over 5000hrs, and currently flies for British Airways
on the A319/320. He also flies the Avro Tutor with RAF Volunteer Reserve, giving
Air Cadets flying experience.

Having always had a desire to build and aeroplane, Paul was inspired
by the excellent article written by Alan James on the Air Camper. He classes
himself as a very slow builder....
