Main legs welded and first test of theMATCO 600X6 with a spacer (F600).

Next job is to weld the large 'top hat bush' to retain the brake unit and act as a collar for the wheel bearing.

SB jig for welding of the cabane vee assembly. This has been made adjustable due to the slight variations in fuz width between the three Piets.

We initially made the 'bushed' and 'strapped' end assembly...this was a mistake as it required either a vertical 'in-plane' front u/c leg, or the vee assembly to be angled rearwards in line with the front u/c leg. We have now opted to plug and fit a rod end bearing....far simpler and flexible!
